1. Water resistance: Sealant material is insoluble in water, and it can effectively
stop the penetration of moisture and prevent “water penetration” from damaging road surfaces;
2.Cohesiveness: Good cohesiveness ensures the firm adhesion with road surface when the road
expands with heat and contracts with cold or suffers immersion;
3.Malleability: The sealant fluid can deform and extend with crack stretching to ensure full adaptation
to the deformation force of sealant fluid caused by “Thermal heat stress”;
4.Hot melting: Sealant fluid belongs to construction material, and the material in the tank
can be used repeatedly heating;
5.High temperature stability: In a hot summer, LLRD sealant fluid will not be melted when being heated
and will not pollute the road surface because vehicle wheels carries it;
6.Low temperature flexibility: In a cold winter, LLRD sealant fluid would not get brittle and fail in performance,
but it will continuously maintain its flexibility.
This product is made of the modified asphalt and recycled rubber bits. It is of solid shape,which is very easy to use with employing sealant heating furnace. During the heating process, asphalt and rubber would react and form a kind of elastic and viscous mixture which can effectively seal asphalt and cement road surface cracks. Products made from asphalt of medium softness, used in the circumstance where summer temperature seldom surpasses 40 ℃ and winter temperature is seldom under - 5 ℃.MBS modified asphalt, rubber powder and other ingredients have great cohesiveness and could seal the cracks firmly. Due to containing of too much rubber, it is very sticky when using, and could not achieve self-compacting.
We recommend you to abide by the regulations of sealant LLRD-2050’s specifications. You should also follow the requirements of ASTMD5078 when testing
